Students Engaging in Oral History (SEOH)

Students Engaging in Oral History (SEOH) is an undergraduate student group that grew out of  the SOHP internship program. Its goal is to promote awareness of the social and academic purposes of oral history and to give intensive training and practice to interested students beyond the workshop setting. The group is currently organizing students to begin the 100 Counties Project, an ongoing project that will aim to conduct an oral history interview with a UNC alumnus living in each of the state’s one hundred counties, with the goal of exploring the university’s relationship to the life of the state and its role in the lives of  North Carolinians.
